About Zoe McCall
Having worked in veterinary clinics and rehabilitation specific clinics for 4 years, Zoe decided it was time to start Paws and Progress to help deliver animal rehabilitation to regional areas. The closest rehabilitation center in these regional areas are far for pet owners to get their pets to - that is why we are mobile!
Zoe’s passion for animal rehabilitation began while she was studying to become a veterinarian. This growing interest led her to pursue a degree in Veterinary Physiotherapy at Harper Adams University in the UK. This was a 4 year degree where she trained specifically on animals from cows to guinea pigs. In her final year she primarily focused her skills on dogs, cats and other small animals.

She graduated in 2021 and worked in the UK until 2023 before deciding it was time to return home to bring her knowledge and skills back to Australia. She has also completed her canine hydrotherapy qualifications upon returning to Australia through the canine health and wellbeing academy.

Since returning home, she was able to apply her specific animal degree to treat a wide range of animals—including dogs, cats, rabbits, and even chickens! Through training and working specifically with animals she is able to comfortably work with dogs showing signs of behavioral issues as these issues are usually linked with pain.
At Paws and Progress, Zoe is committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care. Whether your pet is recovering from surgery, managing a chronic condition, or needing support after an injury, Zoe is here to help them move forward—one paw at a time.
